Store up to 400 images
Despite its tiny dimensions, the Sipix Snap packs a whopping 8 MB memory to store up to 400 images - more than 4 times the capacity of previous miniature digital cameras. At its highest resolution of 640 x 480 pixels (previously only found in larger cameras) it can store up to 100 picures.
Absolutely tiny
When we say tiny - we're not exaggerating! Formed into a rounded 5.5cm square casing - its also incredibly slimline too (even slimmer than the Blink!) so would go virtually unnoticable in shirt pockets or tight jeans ;-)
Video and Webcam
Its not just a digital still camera either - featuring Streaming SnapshotTM mode - the Snap can capture motion pictures that can be converted into AVI video files using the included software. Or slot it into its unique docking station and the Snap becomes a high quality webcam operating at up to 5fps.

What is Picture ALIVE™?
Picture ALIVE is a powerful and sophisticated process, developed by SiPix image scientists, that leverages cutting-edge technologies to dramatically enhance images, producing high quality, vibrant pictures that can be increased in size without significant loss of detail. Picture ALIVE produces superior images while maintaining an affordable cost. The features and benefits of this striking new technology are described below.
Uses advanced algorithms to improve picture quality
Digital cameras use image sensors to capture color information for digital pictures. Image sensors are limited to capturing a single color in each pixel (red, green, or blue), and the other two colors have to be estimated. Historically, this process has been very challenging and can often limit the quality of the image. Picture ALIVE uses proprietary color algorithms to produce high quality pictures.
Produces vibrant Colored Images
Picture ALIVE produces vibrant color images that look the way you want them to look. By carefully calibrating all of our sensors with the lens assemblies and improving the white balance, we are able to deliver highly accurate color. However, studies have demonstrated that accurate color is not what most people prefer in their pictures because they can appear washed out. Viewers prefer images with greater saturation compared to images that are true in color. There are simple, commonly used methods to increase saturation or color intensity (bright pink versus pastel pink), but most of these will change the hue, or color (red versus orange) during the process. For example, a photo depicting red and orange crayons adjusted using common methods, would result in all of the crayons appearing the same color. Picture ALIVE increases saturation with little change in hue, so different-colored objects will maintain their different colors.
Adaptively adjust brightness for natural-looking images in a wide range of light
Picture ALIVE adaptively adjusts brightness in different parts of the image, resulting in a more natural-looking image even in tough lighting conditions. This type of image enhancement generally improves images with backlighting or when the subject is located in both direct light and shade.
Proprietary digital zoom to make larger prints with details
Digital zoom uses interpolation to increase the number of pixels in a final image. Basic methods of digital interpolation can result in blurry images lacking detail. Our scientists have developed a patent pending process capable of enlarging images without image deterioration. This allows images captured from a 1.3 Mega Pixel camera to be comparable in size and quality to those taken with a 2.1 Mega Pixel camera.
Sophisticated sharpening for crisp edges
It is difficult to effectively sharpen an image without increasing image noise. Similarly, it is difficult to remove image noise while retaining a sharp, artifact-free image. Many noise removal techniques make the image look flat. Through proprietary image processing techniques, Picture ALIVE is able to control the noise level while delivering images with sharp edges and smooth continuous tone areas.
