A natural area of 27ha of marshland on the west bank of the estuary at the mouth of the River Guadiaro. located in the luxury estate of Sotogrande. The area is the only marshland in this part of the coast.

A pathway is clearly defined over a wooden bridge, providing an interesting walk and observation of the natural area. Many birds can be seen on this migratory route from Africa.

Access into the estate is from the N340 at either km 130 or km 134,5.

At the entrance to Sotogrande by km134, 5 there is a security barrier. Take the first right and follow the road round past new developments. At the first junction turn right and cross over the River Guadiaro. On the left hand side is an information board explaining the natural area and the start of the marked footpath.
